Score High, Bank Often
Maximus - do you play safe and bank the small scores, or do you play with more bravery go for the really big scores?
- Featured Game: Maximus
- Game Type : Lady Luck / Tactical / Gambler / High Scorer
- Turn Duration : About a minute.
How to play
Each time you play, you start with six closed boxes. These are opened to reveal random coloured tokens. Points are awarded to your game score for matching various scoring combos. Some combos need all six boxes, some only need 3. Points are also awarded whenever you reveal a single gold lion or a red poker chip.
After each reveal, the points are added and the scoring boxes are locked, taking them out of play.
Three Lions scores 1000
You are then given the option of playing on with the remaining unlocked boxes or safely banking your game score and ending the game.
Beware, if you choose to carry on, the remaining boxes must score. If you fail to score, the game is over and you lose your current game score.
If all six boxes have scored points, they are all unlocked, bringing them back into play. When this happens players are awarded a spot prize.
This prize cannot be lost, even if the player loses their score.
A star prize could be presented for the best leaderboard total. This could be awarded after a set period of time, maybe at the end of the week or the end of the month
This game is all about building up your leaderboard total.
There are two ways to play Maximus:
Slow and steady
Play safe, and bank as much as possible. Your games will be short and your scores might be small but you’ll never waste any points. If you try to bank something every game, your leaderboard score will steadily rise.
Balls of steel
Play with more bravery and go for the big scores. Extend your games by carrying on when the odds are against you. You might lose some games but the rewards will be worth it. If you can six boxes back in play, you have the chance of a high scoring six box combo.
